Lavender plants in a 4-inch pot, ready to be planted in your garden. Grown with care and available for pick up at The Purple Hollow. We've selected cultivars that grow well in our soil and have proven to be robust. These healthy plants will thrive in well-drained soil and full sun.
Lavender is drought-tolerant, low-maintenance, and attracts pollinators, making it a beautiful and beneficial addition to any garden.

Phenomenal - This cultivar has been robust and survived our cold Ontario winters quite well. This variety resembles the classic French lavenders found in Europe. It blooms in mid July. Long purple spike blooms. The plant can grow up to 4 feet wide and 2 feet tall within a couple of years. Harvest in late July to early August. Hang bundles upside down to dry.
Melissa - This cultivar is a White blooming English lavender often used in culinary dishes. It is a valiantly sturdy cultivar that withstands our harsher climate. It blooms mid June. The stems can be harvested before bloom and hung upside down to dry. The buds can then be used in culinary dishes.
Folgate - Similar to its cousin Melissa, Folgate shares many similar properties, but blooms purple. Another favourite cultivar of ours for culinary uses.
